I upgraded from a Subaru Impreza to my Diesel GMC Terrain SLT. This thing gets fantastic fuel economy while giving me significantly better space than my old Subaru (admittedly, a very small car). The ride, handling, and feeling of this machine are fantastic and I am quite impressed with the technology inside, although I wish there were more fully upgraded ones available with the Technology Security Package.

Pros

Fuel Economy: They say this thing gets 38MPG Highway. I've never seen it get less than 45, and have even seen it hit 50MPG in certain cases.
Technology and Entertainment: The technology package is good and upgradeable, it even has a USB-c Connector!
Seat Comfort: Can sit for hours driving without feeling bad

Cons

Cost to Maintain: The machine eats through DEF, so you'll need to have it refilled frequently. It's not terribly expensive, but it's an added cost to think about
Value: The trunk window in this car is kinda small. You've got the rear backup camera to make up for it, but they could have improved the visibilty out the back of the car

Roomy, plenty of leg room. Gas mileage could be better. Averaging 23mpg currently. Not sure what the sticker says. The rear hatch on the SE model is manual lift only and doesn’t raise high enough in order to walk under unless you bend over. My husband is 5’11” and he hits his head. Overall we are happy with our purchase.
