Generation Overview

The 2015 Yukon debuted as the first model year of the SUV's fourth generation of production (2015-2020), boasting new features like a larger eight-inch touchscreen interface and smartphone integration. This generation also offers third-row seats that fold directly into the floor rather than needing to be completely removed to create more space.

GMC Yukon Engine Options

A 5.3L V8 engine at 355 hp is standard on the fourth-generation Yukon's base SLE and SLT trims, as is a six-speed automatic transmission. The range-topping Denali trim, however, receives a more powerful 6.2L V8 at 420 hp.

All fourth-generation Yukon models come standard with rear-wheel drive, though four-wheel drive is available.

GMC Yukon Storage Space

The fourth-generation Yukon offers a generously sized cabin. Behind its third row, you'll find a spacious 15.3-cubic-foot cargo area. With third-row seats folded, storage space is increased to 51.6 cubic feet—and cargo storage is maximized with second- and third-row seats folded down to offer 94.6 cubic feet.
