It's peppy, handles well, and gets decent (though not spectacular) gas mileage. On the mileage point, it's EPA rated at 24 mpg city/34 highway, and I've been getting about 25-27 in suburban driving. Even on the couple of highway trips I've taken I don't think I've hit 30 mpg, but I still have hopes. At 6'2" tall I can't abide a car with too little leg room, and this one is perfectly adequate. The back seat may be a different story, but that's mostly for my son's friends and only occasionally. Trunk space is ample and it's pretty well appointed (power windows, seat heaters, XM/Sirius ready, sunroof). And it's only been a month and a half, but no problems mechanically so far. I had an Acura MDX previously, so I'm already a Honda fan (Acura being their luxury brand), and this is just so much more fun than the SUV was. I'd recommend it unless you need to haul a lot of people or stuff.

I bought the EX V6 Accord and the seats are very comfortable. This is my 3rd Accord, having had an '83 and a '90, and then had to get something more comfortable because the '90 started to seem too low and the driver's seat wasn't good for long drives (which is part of my job). This 2005 Accord takes care of that - with the power seat you can move it very high or low and has lumbar support.. The power and take off are great, as is the stereo/CD system/satellite radio and the controls are conveniently located on the steering wheel. The trunk is roomy. The appearance is sporty looking with the slanted rear end. I wake up every morning looking forward to driving to work!

I can't find it in a parking lot, but it's state of the art for 5-seat box on elongated box driving in America. Handles well, with a little bit of guts. Extremely comfortable. It really was put through a computer, and the computer came up with nearly perfect human driving comfort in a car that is not too big but could drive easily across the country, not too small but gets 34 mpg on the highway. It will last longer than I want it to last. A perfect balance. If only I could find it in a parking lot.
