This car is sleek and comfortable. I got the sport version and with the turbocharged engine it has nice torque to get up and going on the highway and eco mode saves you fuel for the city driving. Inside the car is very roomy and seats 4 people comfortably without sacrificing leg room. The center console is all touch screen and very intuitive with all the features like Apple carplay. This car is great on gas and fun to drive. I would definitely purchase another model down the road

Pros

Power: The turbo mode has great torgue and when you step on the gas pedal it's a quick response. You can feel the power when the turbo engages and sails you forward
Fuel Economy: With fuel prices the way they are it's nice to have the great fuel economy. I fill my tank once every two weeks.
Styling: It looks like a high end car. Just the way the body looks and the steel rims that come standard. It looks like you shouldve paid a lot more for it.

Cons

Visibility: Only problem I've seen is the blind spots on the car. Sometimes it takes a little longer to identify some cars in the blinds pots on either side

When Honda radically redesigned the Accord in 2018, they took bold steps that has distanced them from arch rival Toyota. Kudos to Honda for impressive Euro inspired shape and overall look of the car. Honda has adopted the “do more with a tiny engine” and placed a small turbocharger in the standard 1.5 liter engine, which cranks out nearly 200hp. If you can adjust to the significant lag, the car has sufficient power for most driving needs. Quick or fast, however, it is NOT. The Honda design team outfit the Sport model of the 2018 Accord with beautiful looking 19” black and silver accented rims. While the look is impressive, the thin rubber on the required tires makes for a very rough ride over even moderately bumpy or uneven roads. Those rims and tires also create significant road noise in the cabin. While I really like the look of the rims and thin sporty tires, I suffer for it every time I drive. Given the opportunity to do it over, I’d opt for the 17” tires of the standard Accord and enjoy a much smoother and quieter ride. The Accord provides very generous seating and trunk space, and I believe it’s actually roomier than our Audi Q5 SUV. The seats are cloth, but seem to be well made and designed, four 6’ adults fit very comfortably. The cabin is nicely laid out, although there is a lot of cheap plastic, and the rough ride creates squeaks and rattles from the many plastic pieces of the interior. There are aspects of the 2018 Accord that are remarkable, however, the improvements in looks have unfortunately resulted in a less powerful and less comfortable car. I love looking at it in the driveway, but I feel punished on the road.

Cost to Maintain: Honda has a reputation for durable and long lasting cars
Dashboard: Modern dash, nice size and feel of the touch screen

Cons

Cabin Noise: 19” rims and tires are harsh riding and quite noisy (but look great)

As someone who has been a loyal Volkswagen owner, when my sales professional suggested I take a look at this car instead of the Jetta I came to pick up, I was very skeptical. I've now had the car almost 4 months and while it's missing a couple of things I miss about German autos, I sincerely understand why so many people buy these cars. Even at 10 years old this thing runs like it's brand new. The handling, the quality of the interior, the smoothness of the engine, the entertainment system... the FUEL ECONOMY.... I'm just amazed all the way around. If you're like me and thinking about purchasing your first Honda, I strongly suggest you go for it. I am a witness that these cars really do last forever, and they're so easy to maintain you really won't regret it.
