For decades, the Honda Accord has been the go-to name for those in search of an efficient and well-made vehicle. The 2014 Honda Accord is no exception, combining its stylish looks and capable handling with impressive efficiency and a host of attractive technology and convenience features. Motivation comes in the form of a 2.4L four-cylinder engine with 185 hp on most trims or a 278-hp 3.5L V6 engine that’s limited to the EX-L V6 trim.
The 2014 Accord Sedan comes in a variety of flavors ranging from the base LX, Sport and EX trims to the upper-tier EX-L, aforementioned EX-L V6 and top-tier Touring trims. The EX-L and EX-L V6 also come available with an optional navigation system and the Song By Voice® vocal recognition system. The 2014 Accord Coupe lineup is similar except for the LX-S and the notable absence of the Touring trim. The EX-L V6 Coupe also gains a six-speed manual transmission option. You’ll find plenty of other options throughout the range, including heated front seats, push button start and leather-trimmed seats.
If you’re green-conscious and dread wasting fuel on your daily commute, the 2014 Honda Accord also comes available in Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid variants. The Hybrid combines a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with a two-motor hybrid drive system to deliver an EPA-estimated 47 combined mpg.2 Meanwhile, the Plug-In Hybrid lets you enjoy brief freedom from gasoline power with an EPA-estimated electric-only range of 13 miles and a total driving range of 570 miles.3
Other unique features on the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid you won’t find on other 2014 Accord trims include an interior trimmed in sugar cane-based bio-fabric, heated outboard rear seats and blue-tinted chrome bezels surrounding the LED headlights and brake lights.

Reviews for 2014 Honda Accord
Great car and super service
It had 88000 miles on it but it was a stick shift(just what I wanted). I drives take a dream and has been problem free so far
- Ride and Handling:
SEXY, SAFE, AND SENSIBLE
Beautiful vehicle that is extremely comfortable, well-equipped, easy on the wallet (great mileage), phenomenal track record on reliability (little to no maintenance expenses), and retains its value over time (high resale value). What more could anyone ask for? I love my car!
- Reliability: Excellent reputation for dependability and excellence in quality workmanship.
- Cost to Maintain: Little to no cost to maintain. Runs like a dream and handles beautifully.
- Styling: It is gorgeously designed. Attractive lines and finish. Complemented frequently.
We just recently bought this Honda Accord this year. Aside from this one, we've had two other Honda Accords, one from 2000 and second one from 2004. They both have over 250K miles on them. That tells you why we bought our new Honda Accord this year. They're simply amazing cars that American cars cannot even come in comparison with. They're fairly priced. They're low cost to maintain. As long as you change the oil when it needs, you're good. Never had a big repair done on any of my Hondas. I'll keep buying Honda Accords until they stop making them!! Truly a fan.
- Safety: They've competing safety features.
- Fuel Economy: Even with high miles, you don't lose your MPGs.
- Ride and Handling: Really smooth drive even at higher speeds.
- Dashboard: I think the dashboard could be a little more user friendly.
- Technology and Entertainment: I think they can add more bells and whistles to this model which will drive up the price a little, obviously, but I think people will still buy the car because of its reputation.
