This is my 3rd Accord, but this is the first Accord I have owned in a V6 manual, and I love it. It gives great power, ESPECIALLY when you downshift and operate the car above 4000 RPMS. it sounds amazing and if you are a manual enthusiast like I am its definitely a fun drive. I get decent gas mileage on the highway, but not to great in the city, as it is hard to control yourself to normal driving habits because the car responds so quickly! the double screen is a great help so you are able to see your navigation screen as well as what you're listening to on the radio, and the right lane camera eliminates you having a blind spot.
I bought the 2012 Honda Accord with 16,000 miles on it. I declined the extended warranted figuring that with the low milage on the "world's most dependable car," I wouldn't need it. Boy was I wrong! I took the car in for routine oil change at 21,000 miles and mentioned that it sounded like the belts were squealing. I turns out that there was a leak in the power steering column and I needed to replace the entire rack and pinion steering machinery to the tune of $1,400! Talk about sticker shock
our past experience with Honda and our Honda dealer was very positive.
We loved our old Honda (still love it, we gave it to our daughter!)
So far this Honda has lived up to our expectations. Course we haven't
had it very long. Mileage is great, ride is comfortable. We took a long driving trip and
that was good.
