2013 Honda PilotSteve Smith - Sugar Land, TX12/07/2015
Pilot rides and handles like a luxury vehicle. Great gas mileage for a vehicle of this size. Design, materials and fit and finish are flawless. Reviews that make mention of cheap interior plastic parts, must not typically drive vehicles made after 1970.
My mechanic recommended we buy a Honda or Toyota when we mentioned our interest in a new car. This Pilot is smaller than the Armada we traded in but we needed to feel safe. Not only that, we do have room on a daily basis for the four of us as well as a nice cargo area at rear. The headroom is spacious and when we have guests we can use the third row for two passengers. I expected better fuel economy but it's better than what we had.
We searched for a 3rd row SUV and compared the Pilot with the Toyota Highlander and the GMC Acadia. We chose this one because it had more space for 2nd and 3rd row seating and considerable more space in the back. We liked the Acadia a lot as well, but it didn't have the same reputation as a dependable, long-lasting SUV. We've had it for a few months now and still love it.
