We got the 2WD and should have gotten the 4WD, but we were on a budget. It's a great car- love the rear entertainment center for the kids. Don't use the Navigation because it's tedious to set up a destination- easier just to use Waze on my phone. It was a great price for a Touring edition- but because it was 2WD- a car that was originally from California. Now I now why it was turned in. Not great in winter conditions. Won't make that mistake again!
My Honda Pilot is a WONDERFUL car! I am short - 4'11"- and have had trouble over the last 8 years finding a car that I could see past the hood. The driver's seat raises high enough that this is no longer an issue, plus the squared off front of the car makes it easier to judge how close I am to the object or vehicle in front of me when I am parking. Also my Pilot is very easy to drive and park with the rear back-up monitor. And the mileage is excellent - 22.5 on mixed city/highway driving and 29 mpg on a recent trip. It is also very comfortable, even in the back seat, and has very little road noise. The air conditioner has been quick to cool my Pilot even on 90 degree days in South Texas. I LOVE MY PILOT!!
Love my older Pilot

Reliable, comfortable, smoothest ride ever! I love the 3rd row seats when we have family and friends with us. 3rd row seat can be fold down for extra cargo room. Trunk area is huge and seats in 2nd row also fold down. My '07 pilot has running boards which are pretty convenient. It gives me the best traction during winter weather typical in Iowa. Snow, sleet, freezing rain -no problem. It takes me to work or back home safely. I also like the panoramic view of vehicle, I have fog lights good for driving out of town, 6-CD changer is nice and radio controls also in steering wheel. Changing lanes is great, due to its wide base, unlike other new SUV's. I highly recommend the Pilot.
