Compared to other mid-sized SUVs like the Honda CRV, KIA Sorento or Mazda CX-5 it has many more features. Definitely get the Sport edition with the turbo upgrade...very peppy and plenty of room compared to others in its class. The tech package is fabulous and the storage spaces in the back cargo area are a great idea. I'm a big guy (6'2") and some of the other SUVs in this class are too small for me, but the Santa Fe is roomy front and back.

Pros

Ride and Handling: Drives like a sports car in traffic.
Technology and Entertainment: Has everything you could possibly want.
Value: $10k less than comparable vehicles

Cons

Cabin Noise: The sound from bumps in the road travel into the cabin, but otherwise very quiet.

I wasn't looking at Hyundai when I went to Carmax. I was looking for an Infiniti, Acura or Lexus. Carmax didn't have any of the SUV's I was looking for. After taking a test drive at the urging of my spouse, I was surprised. The vehicle was sporty, comfortable and affordable. I guess you never know if you like something if you don't try it!!

Pros

Power: This SUV has power to spare!
Reliability: Super reliable
Styling: The SUV has a cool vibe. Doesn't look like a square like many SUV's

Cons

Cabin Noise: It's a little noisy. I think it might be the tires.

I went in looking for a Subaru but it didn't have AC in the back for my dog's. Loved the style if the Santa Few, but it was a Hyundai and a 2.0 at that. I gave it a try and feel in love. I drive back home to Social every 5 weeks, super comfortable. Great gas mileage. Only thing missing was a tilt steering wheel.

Pros

Interior Space: Feels wide for a small SUV
Power: 2.0 liter, buts tons of power with the turbo
Technology and Entertainment: The blind spot us the best!!!!
