The car has a nice interior design, drives well and seems to be reliable. But 2 major things are the reason I hope to trade it in this summer:
Seriously, the gas tank is WAY too small. I can never get more than 12 gal at at time in it. Not great for long trips. Secondly, It's very hard to see out of the back and the camera lens is not that great. If you put lots of stuff in the back, you cannot see at all out the back window. Side back windows too small. I honestly don't know what Hyundai was thinking with this one.
Great vehicle. If you don't want an SUV, but need something a little more spacious than a car, this vehicle is ideal. Great space, 5 seating capacity with plenty of space left over to use as a trunk. and when you are only 2 or 1 person and need more space Back seats fold down to give you a lot of space to put in bigger items.
Its not the best on fuel consumption, but the space and really good handling of the vehicle is well worth it.

For our needs this is an excellent vehicle for the money. I was not specifically looking for a 4WD but very pleased with the ride and low noise level. The car is very comfortable and has better rear visibility than any of the smaller SUV's I have driven. (I have rented cars almost weekly for the past 20 years). The dash is driver friendly with all controls accessible and easily seen. The car is very easy to get in and out of and the drivers seat is easily adjusted for each driver. There are numerous cup holders and some of them accomodate large water bottles.
This vehicle handles extremely well although we have not had it in any incelement weather to date so I cannot comment on its performance with a slippery surface. I do believe it will be excellent as it has ESC as well as TCS.
We have averaged around 24mpg highway and 22mpg city driving.
Negative items I have noticed would be the lack of an outside temperature read-out on the dash; the hatch window in the tailgate raises independently of the door but is not very practical due to the small opening. When the AC is on, the compressor causes a noticeable strain and sound from the engine, similar to a vibration.
A major plus was when we received our new insurance policy, it increased a mere $8.00 per year. I feel this is due to the amount of safety features this vehicle has which must be recognized by the insurance companies. It's unusual for a vehicle in this price range to have ESC, TCS as well as 6 airbags as standard equipment.
I would buy this vehicle again due to the overall quality, safety and comfort features.
Some of the best compact SUVs today are efficient, with good power and handy features like a turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, and even third-row seats. Check out this top 10 list, based on CarMax sales data from January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017.
