I'm grateful that Infiniti hasn't messed with the external styling, electronics, and other features of this car (including the 2014 model!) in favor of recent, new-model fads (for example, cylinder deactivation, LEDs in "smiley" configurations polluting front-end head-light assemblies, "start-stop" engine set-ups designed to save one or two mpg, etc.). Infiniti, to its credit, has continued to offer the G37 (and now its "Q" series), in a more traditional, sustainable, classic style, with proven, time-tested power train and interior features at a very reasonable price for what you get compared to comparable luxury coupes. Unlike my experience with two other (unnamed) luxury marques I've owned, everything on this car works flawlessly!
A nice step up for the G series.
2013 Infiniti G37Kevin - Tampa, FL03/16/2015
This is simply a great car. Yes there are other great cars, but take the IPL on it's own, and you have to really reach to find faults in it's design. The IPL looks great, drives great, and you can tell is a quality product. No rattles or cheap looking material great you in the interior, and the exterior paint finish is excellent. The Malbec Black paint is stunning and classy. You can say the same about the interior's black dash with swirl brushed aluminum inserts. And the dark red seats and door inserts are a nice touch. Acceleration is brisk, but I wish the exhaust note was a touch more aggressive. Handling and breaking are amazing. Over all a great car that makes me want to take the 'long way' or 'scenic route' every time.
Great car, decent tech
2012 Infiniti G37Grant - Lancaster, PA01/07/2015
first off, if you are looking for a ENTRY level luxury sedan, look no further. the power is phenomenal, the awd system works very well, the variable weight of the speeding is awesome, and the car has a button on the 2 front doors and trunk along with the push button start so you legitimately never have to take the keys out of your pocket. seats are comfortable, with limited adjustment. rear seat room is adequate. large trunk. however, the head unit on this car is outdated not with the styling, but the software. it does not work with android. there is no aux jack. the bose system is very nice. if you are debating between a low mile infiniti and any other luxury brand like bmw or MB, i would suggest getting an infiniti due to cost.
