About the Infiniti Q40

Vehicle Summary

A midsize luxury sedan like the Infiniti Q40 can be a sensible option if you want to indulge in some of the finer things in life without upgrading to a large SUV. Renamed from the Infiniti G37 for the 2015 model year, the Infiniti Q40 is a midsize executive sedan with seating for up to five passengers in its spacious and well-appointed cabin.

Behind its rear row of seats, you'll find an additional 13.5 cubic feet of storage space on the 2015 Q40. Those rear seats can also be folded down to extend storage when needed. Meanwhile, standard equipment on the 2015 Q40 is generous and ranges from automatic dual-zone climate control to heated front seats with eight-way power adjustments.

While the Infiniti Q40 was only around for a single model year, this midsize sedan delivers a smooth and enjoyable ride and is equipped with a brawny 3.7L V6 engine for plenty of power under the hood. If you're looking for a luxury sedan that's stylish inside and out, don't overlook the Q40 in your search.

Great car good ride and it is fast

The only bad thing about this car, the engine. It has a Nissan z- engine which made our insurance really high. Probably would have not bought if we knew what engine would do to our rates.

Pros

  • Power: Has a sports car engine
  • Visibility: Very easy to see in all directions
  • Styling: Very nice body, sleek

Cons

  • Fuel Economy: It doesn’t get as good as we hoped. Not bad but ok
  • Cabin Noise: Seems there is lots of noise
  • Technology and Entertainment: Stero system seems average, wished it had alert when cars are beside you
