Generation Overview
The second generation of the XC80 was revealed at the 2010 New York International Auto Show under its prior model name, the XC56. The XC80 had a new 5.6L V8 engine capable of 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. During the 2014 model year refresh, the model was rebranded as the XC80, while at the same time receiving new front and rear fascia, new headlights and taillights, new wheel designs, several interior refinements and three new exterior colors.
