About the 2014 Jeep Patriot
The 2014 Jeep Patriot has plenty going for it when it comes to small crossover SUVs. Not only does it offer the rugged, iconic looks expected of a traditional Jeep, but it also offers impressive off-road capability thanks to its roster of available full-time 4WD systems. You’ll also have a pair of four-cylinder engines to choose from, paired with your choice of a five-speed manual transmission, an available CVT or a new-for-2014 six-speed automatic transmission. If you like tailgating, then you’ll love the optional Boston Acoustics nine-speaker sound system and the pair of drop-down speakers hidden within the liftgate. If you want a nimble compact SUV that’s just as at home in the dirt as it is on pavement, the 2014 Jeep Patriot makes a great choice.

Reviews for 2014 Jeep Patriot
Perfect size vehicle - not too big or too little
I like the way it drives and the sharp way it looks. Mileage I'm getting is right around 20 MPG with a lot of start and stop driving, which I'm satisfied with. The interior has plenty of room.
- Ride and Handling: Feels very good to drive, responsive
- Interior Space: Plenty of room for my shopping trips for pet food that includes cases and large bags.
- Styling: I think it looks really sharp!
Great car for great price
We purchased for our 16 year old daughter. The reasons are many: 4 cylinder so she can't drive fast, it's sturdy, it's pretty inside but not fancy and gets the job done.
- Fuel Economy:
- Technology and Entertainment:
I love the Patriot
I love this vehicle. It's very peppy and has been fantastically competent during the nasty weather. Mine is the four wheel drive version, and I have averaged 23.9 MPG over 5939 miles. The mileage has dropped to about 22.3 over the last month, I assume that is mostly due to warming it up in the morning and the additional use of 4 wheel drive in the snow.
- Weather Versatility: The snow does not bother this little guy at all.
- Power: I was surprised how peppy and nimble this vehicle is. The 2.4 always seems to have enough power.
- Seat Comfort: The seats are actually pretty comfortable. I commute a long distance and always feel comfortable.
- Technology and Entertainment: It has a basic radio, I would prefer I nice aftermarket unit.
- Styling: I love the basic square box styling. Reminds me of an old jeep Cherokee.
