The 2016 Kia Rio offers strong fuel economy, safety, and stylish design, but receives mixed reviews on ride comfort and interior cabin noise. Technology features such as Bluetooth connectivity are praised, though some find the vehicle limited in handling and weather versatility. Reliable for basic needs but with noticeable compromises in comfort and refinement.
Has a decent amount of space to store items. I do Amazon flex so I get tons of packages. Big and small and I hardly have trouble getting everything to fit
So far it’s definitely more reliable than any car I’ve have owned.
It has Bluetooth which most people would love to have now days.
The gas tank is pretty small so big trips are more difficult
My car is definitely plan. The windows and locks are all manual
I did have to take it to the shop and if it wasn’t for my warranty I wouldn’t be able to afford the parts and labor.
Very loud. Cheaply made. Slow to warm up in cold weather. Uncomfortable seats. Handles poorly on wet/icy/slick roads.
Gets decent gas mileage, although not what was advertised.
I guess if I am forced to select a 2nd "pro" then I would say it has more leg room than you would expect from a smaller car.
Again, being forced to select a 3rd "pro", then I would say it has two-tone interior that I do like.
Rough ride. Just not a lot to say other than I am disappointed in how it rides.
Very loud inside the car. Windows sound like they are not sealed. Doors echo when shut like there is no interior to them. Floor board and ceiling "echo" & "pop" as if there is nothing there but thin sheet metal.
Car handles very very poorly on even barely wet roads. It is a white-knuckle ride with any moisture on the road as the car tries to hydroplane and feels like it is never under full control. I am dreading actual winter and ice.
I was in the market for a sub-compact and considered all the usual suspects, but I was smitten with the sedan's good looks. In my opinion, it's a sharper looking car than any in it's class, with the possible exception of the Ford Fiesta. Despite it's shortcomings, which are mainly the seats and the suspension, I am still very happy with my purchase. Pros: - Style - Lots of amenities at entry level - Reliable - Better than average horsepower - Economical Cons - Seats are pretty crappy - Suspension is low rent, making for ponderous handling
Vague handling, bumps and potholes will punish your spine
Super low-grade fabric, wooden planks for upholstery
Front visibility is great, rear visibility, not so much. Better remove the rear headrests.
