I love this little commuter car, except I should have bought a 5 speed. The automatic is a bit of a slow take off and I am used to down shifting and getting out of the way. I have to plan my freeway entrance sometime short ramps make it a challenge to get up to speed to enter traffic.
I love its comfort and accessories, just made a 3000 mile road trip for business and it is definitely nice for the long road.
I will keep this car until its 50k mark and get another one. Only this time a 5 speed.
Great car for what it is

This car doesn't go 0-60 in 3 seconds or tow anything. It's also not the most comfortable roadtrip car. It is, however, a very fun car to drive if you're just learning manual and need something to drive around town. No real gripes about the car at all.
GREAT COMPACT CAR
2012 Kia Rio5Warren Carter - DAYTON, OH02/03/2017
I'VE OWNED MY KIA RIO FOR SEVERAL YEARS. STANDARD 5 SPEED SHIFT GETS BETTER GAS MILEAGE THAN THE AUTOMATIC. ON THE INTERSTATE HOLDING SPEED BETWEEN 65 - 70 MPH IT GETS THE BEST GAS MILEAGE, CRUISES SMOOTHER. THIS CAR IS NOT A FAST AND FURIOUS VEHICLE. CRUISING ON THE INTERSTATE AT 70 MPH WITH THE XM SATELLITE RADIO ON 60's ON 6. IT"S A GREAT HANDLING CAR..
