I bought this car with my wife. We were looking for our first drive here in US and this one immediately catch our attention; nice styling, very spacious inside, outstanding turning radius and finally a car with a great visibility:
I can park so close to the curb (or other cars) without the rear camera (which my car is not equipped with).
We like the fact that it has both front and rear defrosts.
Manual gear, great for fuel consumption, it seems like driving an european car, we love it.

This car has been wonderful so far. It is easy to drive and handles well. I can park it very easily in most spots. The fuel economy has been awesome! My last car was a minivan which used a lot of gas. This car takes about $25 to fill up and I can run on it for about a week or so. Despite its small size it feels very roomy inside both front and back, and I have plenty of space for a trip to the store in the cargo area. The Bluetooth and satellite radio round out my bare bones car pretty well. This car is perfect for me as I just really move around town, but it would not be bad on the occasional road trip.

I'm a big fan of the Kia Soul. It's fun to drive, economical, reliable, enormously cute, the back seats fold down flat creating a very usable cargo space, and you can find it in a parking lot. That being said, there are a few things about my Soul that are not so great: The microfiber upholstery shows everything and stains easily, the ride is not as smooth and quiet as many other automobiles, and there is a blind spot toward the rear (but you can learn to compensate for that).
I have looked at a 2015 Soul and been astonished at the changes in the model from prior years. Some of the bells and whistles available on the new models are downright luxurious - leather upholstery, heated AND cooled seats, full ceiling sun roofs, GPS, etc.
