Generation Overview

After a hiatus from 2003-2016, the 10th-generation Lincoln Continental debuted for the 2017 model year. This all-new model featured three appealing engine configurations, including two turbocharged options. Other notable features for the 10th-generation Continental included standard smartphone integration, an eight-inch touchscreen interface, and a rearview camera with front and rear parking sensors.

2017 Lincoln Continental Engine Options

A capable 3.7L V6 engine at 305 hp is standard on the 2017 Continental, as is a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. On the Select trim, a more powerful turbocharged 2.7L V6 engine at 335 hp was optional when sold new; this same engine is standard, however, on the Reserve and Black Label trims.

Looking for even more power under the hood? The Reserve and Black Label trims were also available with an optional turbocharged 3.0L V6 at 400 hp when sold new, so you may want to check out some used models with this upgrade.

While front-wheel drive is standard, all three engine options were offered with all-wheel drive when the 2017 Continental was first sold.

2017 Lincoln Continental Interior

This large luxury sedan offers a fair amount of trunk space at 16.7 cubic feet. And while a rear-seat pass-through is standard, an available Rear Seat Package on the Reserve and Black Label trims (when sold new) adds versatile 40/40/40 split-folding rear seats to extend cargo storage as needed.

Opt for a used Select, Reserve, or Black Label trim and you'll also enjoy a hands-free trunk for added convenience when loading and unloading groceries, suitcases, or other gear. The 2017 Continental's cabin is spacious, offering plenty of room even for adults in the rear row. On the Black Label trim, your rear-seat passengers will also enjoy power-adjustable seating for added comfort.
