2008 Lincoln MKZJerry Bruno - Dayton, OH09/15/2015
I bought a Lincoln MKZ from CarMax 3 years ago. Since then the chrome is
peeling off the wheels, the leather on the drivers seat is ripping in 3 spots (I have had several car with leather seats - never had them rip before), the condensation drain clogged on the air conditioning and cost me over $700 to repair. The seats are very uncomfortable. Ford motor company doesn't want to man up and do anything about it. Don't buy a Lincoln - way overpriced for the poor quality.
A Fantastic Find at CarMax
2011 Lincoln MKZRon - Mount Airy, MD11/10/2014
Brakes, Steering, handling, quiet, creature features, THX Sound, POWERFUL 3.5L V-6, excellent gear ratios and perfectly timed downshifts, throaty acceleration is a rush, split folding back seat, compact exterior size - good on crowded streets and parking lots and in the garage, smooth ride that doesn't sacrifice handling. MPG - measured 6 times inclding highway and town = 22.5 MPG, regular fuel. Competes very well with the BMW 528i, which I drove for 10 years and retired it at 186,000 miles.
Some luxury for price tech ok
2015 Lincoln MKZRobert Perkins - OVERLAND PARK, KS02/14/2017
Nice ride and performance, for day to day, technology good, probably 19 to 20 mpg, little less than expected but acceptable for mostly city driving, not measured on Highway expect high 20s. Overall would recommend my wife, likes it's handling and zip, turbo a nice performance boost.
