Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.703 reviews) Such a fun little car. I look forward to finding an empty windy road whenever I can and just throwing it into the corners. The sense of confidence it provides and how solid and planted it feels in all conditions. Slowing down for a corner seems so antiquated now. I do have to think twice about making any purchase as the cargo space is extremely limited. Also the interior does get a bit loud on a rough road since with the convertible soft top you are basically driving in a drum. I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect car, but this is as close as it gets. The few downsides are minor compared to all of the benefits such as Japanese reliability and the sense of fun this car distills in you.

Transmission: Manual 6 Speed Color:Red Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.703 reviews) I never thought I'd buy a Miata. I'm a pretty tall guy and a long-time Honda driver. I also thought the Miata would be underpowered. All it took to change my mind was one test drive. First, the car fits my 6'3" body like a glove, with no headroom or legroom issues even with the top up. And, although it's not a muscle car with a huge chunk of metal under the hood, this car is a the perfect sports car--fast enough to knock you back in your seat off a red light, light enough to throw it around curves, and completely balanced. I feel more comfortable driving up twisty mountain roads at 50mph than I would in a Mustang at 30. The next smile you'll get is when it comes time to fill the Miata up. I routinely get 25mpg city and got 36mpg on my last cross-country trip. About that cross country trip: driving very long distances is always a bit uncomfortable, but having the top down does help :)

Transmission: Manual 5 Speed Color:Red Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.703 reviews) This is my fourth Miata - I have driven them since 1995. I really enjoy driving Miatas, and my latest one that I purchased this year is even better than the earlier ones. Very smooth ride, but what I have always liked best is the responsiveness of the steering and acceleration and the really good excellent way it holds the road on turns and curves. My current Miata is my first retractable hardtop and I like the convenience. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bit more trunk space in this car over its predecessors. People have started conversations with me about the car in parking lots and so forth which is a very pleasant experience. Good on gas, and among all four of my Miatas I have needed almost no repairs.

THE Driver's Car
