Fun to drive, good fuel economy, reliable. This is my second Miata, they make great commuter cars as well as fun weekend toys - they're reliable, the handling is great, and the look good. They are smaller than a typical sedan, so they don't have a lot of interior space or luggage space. Obviously, you should make sure you fit comfortably and can see out of it before buying. Similarly if you have to haul kids around, or a lot of parcels every day, then a two seat roadster might not be the right car for you.
Fuel economy is pretty good, I'm getting mid-20's to low 30's depending on how much town and open road driving I'm doing. It's not the highest mpg rating but it's pretty good for a sports car.
There's nothing like a roadster for excellent cornering and maneuvering, but I believe the Miata to be the best roadster I've driven. Had a Toyota MR2 Spyder prior to this, which I dearly loved, but the Miata is more refined - the steering and braking are like glue on velvet.
In terms of comfort, this car is a great fit for a short/petite person like me. All the controls are easily within reach and I never feel cramped. Dashboard is great - traditional yet sporty - none of that crazy futuristic stuff.
With major road bumps, you'll hear loud bangs inside the cabin, but you will also notice that road bumps will not bounce you or sway you in this car, like in other cars. It handles dips in the road with unbelievable stability.
Great little sports car

Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
