This is the first Mazda I've ever own. So far this car is as reliable as Toyota. I love everything about this car except the seat does not fit me really well because I am very short and my back and neck hurt when driving long hours. Now that I found a seat cushion to lift me a little, this issue is solved. You hear road noise but I expected it from a car in the class. I should add the Skyactive engine requires 0W-20 oil, which is a little expensive. I wish I had known that before I bought this car. However, this car saves me gas money and I enjoy driving.
It is a great car overall, but as someone allergic to pets, after purchasing the vehicle I started noticing I was getting itchy every time I got in the vehicle, only to find the back seats were riddled with pet hair. needless to say, lots of work in front of me!
We love driving this car. The handling feels sporty, yet the ride is smooth and comfortable. The gas mileage surpasses that of some hybrids. We don't often chauffer passengers, but when we do, the back seat comfortably seats two. We have gotten three passengers in the back seat for a short distance, without it feeling terribly cramped. We enjoy the technological features as well.
