2014 Mazda Mazda5Rick Liwanag - Las Vegas, NV06/17/2016
I've own many cars in the past. I had a Corolla, a Civic, a Kia Rio and a Subie WRX and I'm impress with this one. Besides the seating capacity of a compact SUV, and a van like door access, this Mazda has an impressive handling. Yes, HANDLING; It corners like a car, a sporty kind of car. It accelerate quick enough to cut through traffic, and overall drives like a compact vehicle. It has enough power seat all six people and still has the power to accelerate quickly for you to enter through traffic safely.
Overall this is an impressive car and just a great small family vehicle.
I love this car. However, I did not realize how small the cargo area was. I can hardly go to the grocery store without putting the back seat down. The performance is also lacking, a bigger engine would have been better! All that said, I do love it! It's very sporty, but at the same time there is plenty of room for the kiddos. It drives like a race car, and is very comfy. Only looses a star because of the missing passenger arm rest! Overall, I am very satisfied!
Great Alternative to a Mini Van or SUV
2007 Mazda Mazda5Eric5 - Baltimore, MD07/28/2010
I was looking for something in between an SUV and a hatchback sedan and the Mazda5 was the perfect choice. Handles 2 adults and 2 greyhounds with ease! 4 adults will fit very comfortable. Only have had someone in the third row of seats with no complaints!
Only downfall is the handling in snow. I could stand to have more rugged tires to handle bad weather.
