Built for fun, this little car is lightweight with an aluminum hood and drop top, giving me good gas mileage. The turn radius is impressive and the compact size means I can park anywhere. The drop top is manual and takes only seconds to unlock, folding in behind the seats, I don't lose my trunk space or wait for a motor to do it for me, instant open and close.
Being a base model I have the options to change the appearance to match my style. The sound system is adequate, the cup holders are in the only possible place they can fit which is awkward but still functional. Classy and fun, this little car is a sweet treat meant to be enjoyed.
Great little sports car
2014 Mazda MX-5-MiataDoug Williams - Chicago, IL12/05/2015
Fun to drive, good fuel economy, reliable. This is my second Miata, they make great commuter cars as well as fun weekend toys - they're reliable, the handling is great, and the look good. They are smaller than a typical sedan, so they don't have a lot of interior space or luggage space. Obviously, you should make sure you fit comfortably and can see out of it before buying. Similarly if you have to haul kids around, or a lot of parcels every day, then a two seat roadster might not be the right car for you.
Fuel economy is pretty good, I'm getting mid-20's to low 30's depending on how much town and open road driving I'm doing. It's not the highest mpg rating but it's pretty good for a sports car.
Great Value Fun Car

I knew what to expect from a Miata as I 'd owned one before. The new body is beautiful and slick. I am sad at the loss of the small space behind the seats but the new body has met all of my expectations!!
