Customer Review Summary for Mini Cooper
Momaroch - Kankakee IL04/08/2012
This is the second MINI I have owned and absolutely love it. I know a lot of people prefer we buy American but this one drives and handles so much better...I call it a souped up Go cart and that is how it feels on the road. I wouldn't own anything else. I fell in love with the look of this car the first time I saw one about 10 years ago and actually had the pleasure of owning my first one in 2009. My second one is red and can't be missed when I am out driving as we don't have many MINI's around where I live....
Great cars if treated with care

The MINI Cooper is a sweet, tasty morsel of a vehicle and makes one feel like every other car on the road is just trying to be as awesome. They are great on gas, extremely easy to drive, and one of the most comfortable rides i've ever had. The only problem I have seen so far is that they are very expensive to maintain, and you need to be very careful with them. Standard things like oil changes, tires, plugs, etc. are very costly but they are also not needed as frequent as other vehicles. They often contain a lot of defective parts that can be replaced for free by MINI under warranty so always take it to the dealership. Other shops rarely have mechanics trained to work on MINIs and you will end up spending way more than you should, and not know about recalls and things you can get replaced for free. Expect to spend about 2-3,000 a year on repairs, but you'll enjoy every minute you own this vehicle.
Love my car!!!

It was the last one I drove, but the first one I should have! I've never looked at the Mini seriously, but wow...what an awesome little car! Seats the family (a little tightly, but not too entirely small for what it is), handles well and gets great gas mileage! LOVE IT!
