So far it has been perfect for our family of 6. We bought one with a DVD system which has been amazing on trips, however, it didn't come with a remote and it wouldn't work without, easy fix though. It's roomy and great to drive and love that we have the 4WD option for when it starts to snow. I have so far had no complaints about this car.
The Armada has been very quiet and comfortable. The easily flipped up second row seats makes it easy for the children to get to the third row by themselves. I'm getting used to handling such a large vehicle. The gas guzzling is, of course, a financial disaster. About a month after buying the car, I noticed that the rear wheels were angled outward, which looked very unsafe, as though they were about to fall off. The tilted tires were both ruined, stripped to the steel wires. The Nissan dealer said that it needed to be realligned - and that, with the weight of the vehicle and the design of the rear axle, needed reallignment every 15,000 miles. Since the car was at 17,000 miles when I bought it, it seems like the previous owner never performed that maintainance. And I was not informed about that difference in maintainance needs with this model. Ended up costing $500.
Great SUV !!!! I bought one two years ago - love the room the easy access to the third row for the kiddos. Lots of room for traveling in the back. Nissan leather in this vehicle is the best , I have five children and the two and half I owned the Armand not one rip in the seats. The ride was smooth and easy to dive. Never had any problems as far as the engine or the electrical. Just keep up the oil change all the maintenance and this veicle will go past its time. The only down side is this vehicle is a gas guzzler city and highway. If it wasn't for the gas issue i would still have it. Over all wonderful SUV.
