The '08 Pathfinder SE is a two wheel drive. It will be interesting to see how it handles a New England winter. The fuel milage is 15-17.5 mpg. The third row seat is tight, but ok for kids. The cargo space with seats folded down is very good. Owned this vehicle since June 5, 2011. Remote key access is a most, but didn't come with this vehicle? The "use cost" is yet to be determined.
This is a great SUV. It has the power and speed of a sports car,but the comfort of a sedan. I've owned my Pathfinder for 4 yrs. Bought it used with 30K miles. It now has 80K miles. The in-dash 6 disc cd player went out about a year ago also had to replace a sensor that cost me $100. Aside from that it's all good! A/C is still cold, engine runs smooth just watch out if you drive it hard and fast because it likes to drink a lot of gas. I drive like an old man and can get 19 mpg. The back seat is a little tight. Awarded Best Bet Used Car award by Edmunds.com. Great SUV overall!
I do like the inside of the car with the leather seats, the Sirius radio but the control panel is impossible to work unless you read every thing in the manual and even then it's impossible to figure out how to change the Sirius radio back to FM. The other thing I am a total Pathfinder person-my previous Pathfinder was a 2008 and I loved the body style and that's what I wanted but could not get it with the newer car which is irritating., Every car I see on the road is exactly like my Pathfinder now and there's no distinction, looks more like a luxury vehicle than a real SUV even though I like things about the the car if I could exchange it for the older model for body style, I would. Why make a good car so unoriginal as far as style goes?
