Economic option for those who need four wheel drive and decent ground clearance. Fairly good gas millage as well. Small engine makes for lack of power in the mountains and slow acceleration. The CVT 4 cylinder engine also makes a loud droning sound on acceleration which some (not me, personally) will find annoying. My vehicle also looses RPMs and stutters as if it's about to stall whenever idling with the AC on...strange and irritating but hasn't caused an issue yet.
The Rogue offers a lot of features, without the hefty price tag that a similarly-equipped Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4 might carry. More importantly though, it is a reliable and handy car that combines good looks with great performance. It may take some a little longer to become accustomed to the CVT, but overall, I've found the Rogue to be a great car.
Love the review 'view', the all wheel drive in our Chicagoland area comes in very handy and appreciate it goes into the gear needed - especially in the snowy weather. Like that we still sit higher and can view the road better. Took on a 4,000 mile round trip this winter and what a great ride and weather never was an issue, even when driving into nasty, winter weather.
