It has a really nice ride for a smaller car.,while still having plenty of room for my whole family of 5. It get's great gas mileage and has the biggest trunk I've ever seen on a car of its size. It's surprisingly powerful and has good acceleration too.
It's a great compact car. This version came with some upgrades that made the car feel a bit more like a luxury car than an economy car. I've taken it on long road trips, performed well. However, regarding the mechanical integrity of this particular model of Nissan Sentras, it has some quirks. The continuous transmission provides a couple problems with the sound of grinding gears during shifting points and the brakes seem to stutter more (with only 30.000 miles on them). Also the suspension seemed to wear quickly, causing clicking noises anytime the steering wheel is turned. Overall though the car has held up well for the last 4 months, even if it sounds like it could break sometimes. I've been satisfied with my first vehicle purchase.
Though I have only owned this car for 4 months, so far it has been great! The spacious interior is more than we could have expected. The handling of this car as well makes it feel as if you are driving something much smaller. The gas mileage is actually realistic to what they sold it as, getting on average between highway and city around 33 MPG. We needed a family car and this is perfect for my wife to take our child to daycare but also for driving to the store or out and about. The features aren't anything to get excited about but we understood that knowing that we were purchasing a base model. All in all, this car has been great so far!
