2012 Nissan SentraKat King - Memphis, TN08/31/2015
It's a great compact car. This version came with some upgrades that made the car feel a bit more like a luxury car than an economy car. I've taken it on long road trips, performed well.
However, regarding the mechanical integrity of this particular model of Nissan Sentras, it has some quirks. The continuous transmission provides a couple problems with the sound of grinding gears during shifting points and the brakes seem to stutter more (with only 30.000 miles on them). Also the suspension seemed to wear quickly, causing clicking noises anytime the steering wheel is turned. Overall though the car has held up well for the last 4 months, even if it sounds like it could break sometimes. I've been satisfied with my first vehicle purchase.
This Sentra was my first car I bought myself and I will never get away from Nissan models. I was in a car accident a few years ago and my other Sentra saved my life, so it was an easy choice when it came time to get a new car! I feel very safe, it has great gas mileage and it is just a good looking car. I highly recommend it!
It has a really nice ride for a smaller car.,while still having plenty of room for my whole family of 5. It get's great gas mileage and has the biggest trunk I've ever seen on a car of its size. It's surprisingly powerful and has good acceleration too.
