I bought a used 2005 Titan LE 2 years ago. Just had to trade it in last week due to fuel costs. The Titan has all the power you want and more. I knew buying a fullsize truck would hurt the pocket book with fuel costs...I believe I averaged about 15 mpg mostly city driving. But, the Titan does have the heart of a sports car. The interior is just okay. I loved the center console shifter. The factory Rockford stereo sounded as good as some aftermarket systems. Only problem inside was I thought some of the plastic looked and felt a little cheap. The Driver's leather seat wore fairly quickly as well. Lots of room though. Overall, I loved the truck. No mechanical issues to speak of. Will probably buy another someday when I have less travel for work.
The Titan compared to most other trucks doesn't carry as hefty of a price tag new to begin with. Nissan Titan, like Toyota Tundra, didn't keep tweaking the vehicle to death and planting different engines under the hood every year. As a result kept cost low and not as many issues.
I've had my Titan for about a month and absolutely love this truck. It is the funnest vehicle to drive that I've ever owned! It replaced a 1997 Chevy K1500, which was a good truck, but didn't have near the power and features of the Titan. Pros: Power, handling, interior room (loads of interior room in the Crew Cab), utilitrack system, towing ability, looks. Cons: Gas mileage isn't great. I'm getting around 14 for the first couple of tanks.
