This car is a great handling little go-kart. The power could be better, but that is from someone used to having a car 0-60 in under 5 seconds. This car cannot do that. First thing you MUST do is get sticky tires (I went with Bridgestone RE-71's) and the entire car changes dramatically. If you get normal tires, it is a sloppy drifter car. RE-71's or Dunlop Z2's make it grip and drive like an S2000.
This is a small car. Do not buy this if you are over 250lbs or over 6'4". Children under 12 can ride in the back seat, but the people in the fronts seat will be less comfortable if they require leg room. I have fit my whole family (wife and 3 kids) in the car when I HAD to because the SUV got a flat.
So much more than what I expected

When I bought this car I thought I was making a sacrifice. I loved the body style but everyone talked about how slow the car was. Maybe I got a good one but this car is everything but slow. With that said it isn't the fastest car around but dollar for dollar this car will stand up to the best.
This car hangs with my wife's VW GTI. That's right a car that has 100 more HP than the FR-S but these things are so dang light. I do have to say i got a re-tune the week after I got the car. That got rid to the dreaded power curve dip at 3500rpm. Running on high-grade gas the thing is a blast to drive. handeling is the best if been in. Even compared to BMW and Corvette. It's just more fun to drive.
Quick, efficient, amazing curve and bump handling

True rwd light little sports car with great punch, but with the added bonus of great gas mileage at an amazing price. Nothing fancy with features inside because the handling (corners like it's on rails, yes, true!) and the ride itself is stellar, don't need anything else. Surprising amount of storage space with the back seat down for such a small package. No mechanical issues so far, and with a Subaru engine, don't anticipate anything big coming in the near future. 6-speed shifts smooth, decent stock stereo, Bluetooth connectivity is great for hands free phone access. Oh, and of course, it looks pretty frippin' cool too. Can't be happier as a car owner.
