One of the most amazing things about the car is the mileage. After every trip, the miles per gallon used is shown. I cannot say how often it is 34.7 or 30 plus miles per gallon. It was not supposed to be this good according to what was reflected on the window. I am very impressed.
It is also one of the smoothest running vehicles I have ever owned.
Soon after moving from KS to the steep, curvy, sometimes snowy and icey Teton mountains I realized I needed a different car. I researched then chose a Subaru.
Man, am I happy! In the mountains life must go on in the cold and snow. There's no choice! I confidently and safely drive on roads thru conditions that would keep me homebound in KS!
I love my Subaru! I've told my family: I may even start sleeping with it!

2014 Subaru ForesterStella Swartz - Colorado Springs, CO11/27/2017
This car burns oil. I have had to replace about 1 quart of oil every 1-2 months since purchasing. After some digging, it turns out this year/make/model is notorious for this issue, yet there are not any recalls in place to fix the issue. I would recommend going with another year of this model to avoid the same issue.
This vehicle also does not get the fuel mileage that is stated in the vehicle details. I drive all highway miles and average 27 miles per gallon, not the stated 32.
