2005 Subaru ImprezaJeremy - Las Vegas, NV01/01/2015
The stock turbo pushes very well.
(0-100 real quick) aha
You can hit sharp corners at fast speeds
Love the AWD
Drives well in the rain
Stock speakers sound excellent
(A lot of thump in the trunk)
And of course that rumble sound just pulls you in never wanting to let go of the gas.
If you like going fast I would recommend this specific vehicle.
Fun and Versatile
2013 Subaru ImprezaChristian Kelley - Overland park, KS07/03/2016
I've had it for 5 months now and I have no regrets. The car is very versatile, and can easily handle inclement weather and offroad expeditions. I've taken my car through soupy mudpits where pickup trucks get stuck and I'm able to cruise on by.
The stock audio system on default settings is a little lacking, but if you go into the settings you can modify things to suit your tastes. Interior looks and feels great, a lot of leg room as well.
This car punches above its price level in terms of performance. AWD sports car =all 265 horses hit the road. When you hit 3k RPM, you feel that turbo kick in and you are off! Look for the 2013 Orange ones - only 200 WRX and 100 STI were made with this trim package! To top it off - the car's safety features are keyed into Subaru's Rally car platform. These things are tanks in crashes! The A/B/C pillars are reinforced (basically a light-weight roll cage built into the car). The drivetrain buckle zones are designed to make the H-4 engine rotate vertical and act as a shield for the passenger compartment in a bad enough crash. Subaru knows a thing or two about how they perform in worst case crashes from decades of rally cross experience!
It’s tough to cross paths with a sporty Subaru and not marvel at its looks, sounds, and performance. Fortunately, there’s no better time to be in the market for a used Subaru. These vehicles are quick and attractive cars, and the Subaru WRX — also known as the Impreza — is a solid choice for anyone seeking a rewarding drive.
Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
