This car was in great running condition when I purchased it. The vehicle had approximately 63000 miles on it and priced at $18999. Like I mentioned, in great running condition. Interior was nearly mint condition while the exterior was clean....except for a few scratches that don't really seem to bother me. Minor if anything. Power is good since I didn't need to be hauling anything anyways. My only drawback was that I wish they had replaced the tires before completing the purchase. Almost bald and the saleman stated that it would last until the end of this year. It's going to need to be replaced very sooner than expected.
I have had my 2008 SR5 V6 for 7 years and it has proven to be the most enjoyable vehicle I have ever owned. Perfect reliability, useful utility configuration, great comfort, excellent audio system (I use MP3 CD's), and a great looking design. With normal dealer maintenance there have been no problems at all. I love the unique lift-gate power window. The only design element that you need to adapt to are the heat/air buttons. I have no trouble with winters in Iowa, and always look forward to driving this sharp looking model. I installed a chrome horse head hood ornament so I could always look between a horses ears as I drive... I like to think of it like riding an ultra-smooth horse.
When it came time for me to sell my Toyota truck with 350,000 miles (and daily driver) I did plenty of research for my next vehicle. I needed dependable, tow hitch, 4WD, V8, and 'used' as I could not afford a new vehicle. I narrowed the search to a 2003 Toyota 4-Runner as it was the first year with a V8. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my 4-Runner. I drive it as a daily driver and take it to the hills in 4WD.
