I have had my Prius for about 6 weeks now and absolutely love it.
Comfort: There is plenty of room for a small car. The instrument panels are easy to read and reach. My Prius has controls on the steering wheel for most normal items like radio but as a bonus you can adjust the temperature from it as well.
Dislike: The sun visor does not extend leaving me with sun coming in the side window. I have solved this with a piece of cardboard and a rubber band.
Performance: It has great take off power when you need it by simply pushing a button. I run in Eco mode most of the time. I am averaging over 50 MPG and drive a mix of highway and country to and from work daily.
Quality: I have not found any quality issues with my vehicle.
Appearance: I like the appearance of the Prius but find that the spoiler on the back window is a bit unusual. I prefer a full window.
Value: I thought that the price is comparable to other cars of its type.
Overall: I would recommend this car, and have, to others. It has saved me a lot of money. I used to drive a pick-up truck at 15-17 MPG and took the train to work. Since I changed locations I am now at or below the price of my train fare and parking fees.
Love the roomy interior and great mileage.
2013 Toyota Prius vMark Stockwell - Colorado Springs, CO11/05/2015
It doesn't feel like a small compact, it's roomy inside, a solid ride and it gets wonderful mileage. We also appreciate the cargo space, for hauling a number of things.
Prius V - the super car!
2013 Toyota Prius vD M - Sac, CA12/19/2016
- fuel economy we get 41.5 mpg combined.
-very peppy especially in power mode.
-lots of space of an SUV.
- radio controls a little confusing.
- key fob doesn't always recognize and car won't say READY so we need to restart the sequence.
- It's comfortable but a little tight. If we have a third person in the back seat they are a little squeezed.
