This car has excellent mileage. You can get anywhere from 420 miles to 500 miles on one tank. I usually get about 45mpg to 50mpg during a normal work week. This car is a dream and puts the fun back in driving again. It's like a game challenging yourself to stay in a certain mpg range which you control all by how well you choose to drive your car. The cons of the car are going to have to be acceleration. It's a little hard to go up steeper hills without compromising the mpg or the Eco mode which isn't a green driving experience. The plus side is that you can use the power mode to gear into high speeds very quickly. I love this car, it's comfy, spacious, and saves my wallet every week!
It's Economical, especially in California.

it's economical and you don't have to have it smogged every other year here in California! I have rheumatoid arthritis, and my hands are misshapen and painful, and it's the easiest car for me to drive! I don't have to turn a key in the ignition; with the smart key, I just push a button on the dashboard to start it, and I open the locked driver's door by putting my hand into the handle. It is complex and expensive to maintain.
Prius! The car for our family.

Highly economical! Handles well. Plenty of room. Purchased vehicle for the family but our daughter who just started college loves to drive it -- great for college students! Low gas expense and result in plenty of miles out of the small amount of gas that goes into the vehicle.
