The car is reliable, it handles well and maintenance is minimal.
The only problem I need to address is the gas mileage. I come from driving a Prius 38-40 mpg to 23 mpg but this to be expected. I also have a 2008 Rav 4 that my wife drives and it gets 28 mpg. It seems the more gadgets you have on the car, the lower the gas mileage. Otherwise, it's a great vehicle.
Perfect for pet owners!

It holds more than my Ford Ranger pick up truck.
Dogs can easily jump in and out.
The back area is large enough for a medium sized crate to be in it, and the back seats do not need to be folded down!
I love the back door -- it opens out instead of up. I'm 5'4" and have trouble reaching the doors of those that open up.
Easy to park.
Great ride, Size, gas mileage,

Comfortable ride, good gas mileage, spacious cabin. Comfortable on long distance travel WA state to AZ. Pretty good visability. LOve the blue tooth and back up camera. Would be nice if there was a way to keep the dirt off back window and hence back up camera. I liked the look of another car but cabin noise better on RAV4 and larger back window...that fancy down curve in back blocked some of your line of sight on other models.
