We like it because it's big enough to fit our family of 5 comfortably, but it doesn't look as bulky as some of the other larger SUV's on the road. The Platinum package gives you all the luxuries of a higher-end manufacturer.
I'd buy it again

I have been surprised by the ride and power of my Sequoia. I expected it to ride like a truck and have subpar acceleration. Neither is the case.
The gas mileage stinks but with a massive 5.8L V8 you can understand why.
Biggest problem is I can't keep my wife from driving it all the time!
Great car at a great price. Even greater experience because of the sales person, John Prado.

The car is great, and the price was good compared to mileage, condition etc.. The decisive point for choosing CarMax though, is the effort of the sales rep, John Prado. He went out of his way to make it right, and even travelled to my house in his free time to deliver a piece to the trunk, that was missing and needed to be replaced. Because of him and the efficiency of the sales process I will continue to recommend Carmax.
Toyota builds nearly every type of car for every kind of driver, and used models are highly sought after, thanks to their reputation. Whether you’re looking for a used sedan, SUV, pickup truck, minivan, sports car, or fuel-efficient hybrid, there’s almost certainly a Toyota out there for you.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
