Gas mileage is brutal. I don't think it's just Volkswagon who is goosing it's mileage and effieciency rates. It's all of them. We get 21 - 22 MPG on the highway, less than 18 in the city.
Mostly Great car

Love high tech connection to iPhone, power doors, notification of cars that are in blind spots, and rear seats folding down flat for great cargo space, yet able to seat people there as needed.
2006 Toyota Sienna Review

This is our second minivan (had last one for 15 years!) and we are really pleased with it. It's very comfortable to drive and has lots of space for our growing family. Easily fits carseat in captain's chairs while still having plenty of leg room for the front passenger. Heated seats and push-button sliding doors/auto lift gate are very convenient features that I don't think I could ever give up! We also love that this car has AWD for winter weather conditions. The Sienna also has great safety features.
Only cons: Gas mileage is not great (prob due to AWD) and the tank is smaller than our last minivan, so more fill-ups. In same vein, the Sienna does not warn of low gas until there's about 15 mi to E (and then only with a barely noticeable light). These are relatively minor issues though, so great car!
