2022 Audi A4 Allroad review

1. High-end interior 

Even as a wagon, Audi’s commitment to detail and aesthetics ensures the 2022 Audi A4 Allroad is as stunning inside as it is practical. Despite still being a small luxury car, it’s roomier than the sedan-style A4, with a panoramic sunroof as standard and lots of high-end surfaces and materials inside. Being a little higher off the ground than the standard A4 also means the car is easier to step into, placing additional luxury on the interior. 

2. Decent off-roading ability 

As the name would suggest, the 2022 Audi A4 Allroad has an off-roading edge. It has a good grip, is very composed, and is generally easier to wield than an SUV while allowing more flexibility than a sedan. Additionally, there are 6.5 inches of ground clearance, which is more than other A4s and opens up the possibility of driving on slightly more challenging road surfaces. 

3. Powerful turbocharged engine 

The 2022 Audi A4 Allroad’s turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine packs more than enough punch to get this wagon moving swiftly. It produces 261 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, and all-wheel drive is standard. Thanks to this engine, the 2022 Audi A4 Allroad moves with surprising speed and grace, making it composed and not aggressive. 

4. User-friendly technology 

As a wagon, the 2022 Audi A4 Allroad is practical as a family car or if you have dog crates to go in the back. The MMI^® (Multi-Media Interface) infotainment system has a very intuitive, easy-to-use menu structure, and it’s simple to find whatever you need. When shopping, check for a version that comes with the optional Virtual Cockpit, which is a highly configurable display where the gauge cluster would normally be. It can either show a digital version of that display or an infotainment-focused version. 

5. Ideal for transporting things 

Unsurprisingly for a wagon, one of the major benefits of the 2022 Audi A4 Allroad is its status as a practical vehicle. It has far more storage options than a luxury car would normally have – including pockets in the front and the sliding front console – but there’s also a generous cargo hold. With all seats up, there’s 24.2 cu-ft of space in the back, but with the rear seats up, there’s an impressive 58.5 cu-ft.
