2023 Audi e-tron Sportback review

1. Comfortable daily driver 

This is a comfortable daily driver that can handle whatever your week throws at you — from navigating the carpool lane to trekking along the highway to a meeting. The standard all-wheel drive makes life easier when the roads are wet or if you encounter wintry conditions. The eight-way power driver seat with lumbar support allows you to find the most comfortable driving position for long days spent behind the wheel. 

2. Lots of standard luxury features 

You’ll appreciate the stacked feature list, even on the base trim, which has a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, leather seating, and much more. Plus, you’ll also get blind-spot warning, lane departure warning, and front and rear parking sensors as standard. If you want next-level luxury, look out for the Prestige trim, which adds a head-up display, massaging front seats, and power soft-closing doors. 

3. Driver-assistance features 

On top of the standard driver-assistance features, look out for the Convenience Plus package, which is available on the Premium trim. It adds adaptive cruise control, which helps maintain distance between you and the vehicle in front, and a lane-keeping system that will come in handy if you do a lot of highway driving. Premium Plus models also get a surround-view camera system to make parking in narrow spaces easier than ever. 

4. Sleek styling 

While the Sportback styling might look like it limits space — you still get 27.2 cu-ft in the trunk — there’s no denying just how good it looks. The swept-back roofline mimics that of performance vehicles, giving the 2023 Audi e-tron Sportback a distinctly sporty vibe, especially when you catch it in profile. Add to this the available Black Optic package, which adds blacked-out exterior detailing, and you’ve got an impressive-looking luxury SUV. 

5. Engaging drive 

The joy of an all-electric vehicle is the instant torque, which gives you quick acceleration off the line. The 355-hp powertrain has a boost function that temporarily ups it to 402 hp, allowing you to go from zero to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds. Despite this performance, it’ll still achieve an EPA-estimated range of 218 miles when fully charged.
