Audi Q5 Sportback

The Audi Q5 Sportback was redesigned partway through the 2025 model year, with the new model sold alongside the first-generation 2025 Q5 Sportback. The new generation continues to offer its trademark sloping rear roofline. 

As before, the trade-off for the sporty profile is a small reduction in cargo space and rear-seat headroom. However, the Q5 Sportback also provides comfortable and supportive front sport seats with additional bolstering. 

Power for the Q5 Sportback is the same as the standard Q5 and the first-generation Sportback. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is paired with an automatic transmission and Audi's Quattro® all-wheel-drive system. The Q5 Sportback continues to offer a high degree of standard and available technology, including a 10.25-inch central touchscreen and matrix LED headlights.

The Audi Q5 Sportback was added to the Audi SUV lineup in 2021, offering a coupe-like sloping rear roofline. Other automakers also brought out sloped-back SUVs during this time in response to consumer demand for something less boxy than a traditional SUV. The trade-off for the good looks of the Sportback design is a small reduction in cargo space and limited rear-seat headroom. However, one benefit of the Q5 Sportback is that you do get super comfortable front sport seats with additional bolstering. 

Power for the Q5 Sportback is the same as the standard Q5, a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with an automatic transmission and Audi's Quattro® all-wheel-drive system. Inside, the Q5 Sportback offers 24.7 cubic feet of storage, comparable with other coupe-profile compact SUVs, and a state-of-the-art tech package including a large center touchscreen, head-up display, and driver-assistance and convenience features.
