Second generation Audi S5 Sportback
The S5 Sportback received a complete redesign for the 2026 model year. It’s powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine rated at 362 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and Audi's Quattro® all-wheel-drive system. Higher trim levels of the S5 Sportback add both luxury and performance features. For example, the Premium Plus trim level adds an adaptive sport suspension that allows a firm setting for spirited driving and a softer setting for everyday use.
Inside, the S5 Sportback carries state-of-the-art tech, including a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android and Apple smartphone integration and a head-up display. There's also an available passenger-side touchscreen that allows video streaming, gaming, and more. A standard sunroof and multiple USB-C ports are included on every S5 Sportback.

First generation Audi S5 Sportback
The S5 Sportback was a new addition to the S5 line in 2018, complementing the two-door S5 coupe and convertible (Cabriolet) models with a fixed roof, four doors, and a convenient liftback to provide access to a more generous cargo area. The S5 Sportback splits the difference between a sedan and a crossover SUV for active owners who might want to carry sports gear or bicycles in their performance car.
From the beginning, the S5 Sportback included a powerful turbocharged V6 engine with 354 horsepower paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Audi's Quattro® all-wheel-drive system. The S5 Sportback rides on a tuned sport suspension and includes 18-inch wheels, automatic LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, parking sensors, keyless start, leather seats with heat and massage for the front row, folding rear seats, and interior ambient lighting.
