2015 Buick LaCrosse review

1. Wi-Fi on board 

New for the 2015 model year, the Buick LaCrosse is available with OnStar^®. OnStar, when activated, enables you and your family to connect your devices directly to its available onboard 4G LTE network.

2. Strong V6 engine  

The optional V6 engine will ensure you have extra power on tap for merging or passing slow-moving traffic. The 3.6L engine offers 306 horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. This combination can be found with all-wheel drive for added traction when you put the power down.  

3. Hybrid is standard 

If you are more green-conscious and are more concerned with gas mileage than maximum power, you’ll be pleased to hear that the standard engine on the 2015 Buick LaCrosse is a 2.4L engine with mild hybrid technology. Unlike some competitors, this powertrain is standard across the lineup and provides an EPA-estimated 36 mpg on the highway.

4. High-end cabin 

The cabin is a high point for the 2015 Buick LaCrosse. Its beautiful design feels elevated and is available with semi-aniline leather seating accompanied by fine wood trim. There is modern technology throughout the cabin, as well as luxurious options such as heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.  

5. Parking assistance features  

Although the Buick LaCrosse is a large sedan, it leverages technology to ensure you feel confident whenever you arrive at the parking lot. With a standard rearview camera, you’ll be able to see directly what’s behind you and leverage the lines to determine how much space is behind you. The LaCrosse also offers rear parking sensors as well as rear cross-traffic alert, alerting you to approaching traffic with audible warnings.
