Versatility in a luxury package
The 2017 Buick Verano is the perfect example of how luxury doesn’t have to mean excessive size. It sits firmly in that bracket but it’s compact, quiet, and comfortable. For 2017, the trims are stripped down to just three options, all of them well-balanced and aimed at anyone who values sophistication with the substance to back it up.

5 reasons to buy the 2017 Buick Verano
1. A taste of luxury
Regardless of its compact size, the 2017 Buick Verano is very much in the luxury bracket. Style-wise it ticks all the boxes of being handsome without being too flashy, and it performs in a way that’s smooth and composed over rough surfaces and tight corners. Inside it’s roomy – although the back seat may not be suitable for tall adults – and the upholstery and trim are made with higher-end materials than you’re likely to find elsewhere in the class.
2. A quiet cabin
Going hand-in-hand with the sense of luxury the 2017 Buick Verano offers is how peaceful it is in the cabin. Thanks to the premium interior materials, the sounds of the road are effectively blocked, even at highway speeds. This is unusual for compact cars and means you can enjoy driving with fewer noise distractions.
3. Streamlined trim options
All the benefits that the 2017 Buick Verano brings have been condensed from six trims down to three: Base, Sport Touring, and Leather. The Base trim is fairly basic with its features but still has plenty going for it, including dual-zone automatic climate control, eight-way adjustable front seats, OnStar®, and a USB port.
OnStar features require activation and most require a paid OnStar plan to use. Wi-Fi hotspot functionality may also require an additional data plan. Limitations and restrictions apply. See onstar.com for more information.

4. Versatile touchscreen
While the Base trim lacks the touchscreen, the higher trims of the 2017 Buick Verano enjoy the benefits it brings, so look out for one of those if you enjoy additional connectivity and entertainment. The seven-inch touchscreen is clear and uncluttered, with images and text that are readable from a distance. Additionally, you can arrange the apps however you like, the way you can on a smartphone. Plus, if you’re an iPhone user, you can add voice command control through Siri® Eyes Free.
5. Comfort
Compact as it is, the 2017 Buick Verano is surprisingly spacious inside, adding to that sense of luxury. The front seats are highly adjustable and there’s a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel to ensure drivers of any leg length or size can get behind the wheel. While the rear legroom (34.7 inches) in the base model will accommodate most passengers unless they’re very tall, the 42.0 inches of legroom in the front is more than generous and a surprising bonus for its class.
