The Blazer EV is Chevrolet's all-electric five-passenger crossover SUV, and aside from its name and its crossover status, it is a completely different vehicle from the gas-powered Blazer. With a high-tech style inside and out, the Blazer EV is available with single-motor (front-wheel-drive) and dual-motor (all-wheel-drive) powertrains and has a range of more than 300 miles, depending on the trim level. For those seeking more performance, the Blazer EV SS delivers more than 600 horsepower and a 0-60 time of around 3.4 seconds.

First generation Chevrolet Blazer EV
When the Blazer EV arrived in 2024, it was Chevrolet's first electric vehicle built on GM's new Ultium platform, which it currently shares with the Equinox EV and Silverado EV. The Blazer EV has no relation to the gas-powered SUV with the same name. Boasting a thoroughly modern design appropriate for its advanced powertrain, the Blazer EV features a high-tech 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen display running the intuitive Google Built-in system. While popular features like Google Maps and Google Assistant are included, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are not available. The Blazer EV also comes with a full suite of advanced driver-assist systems, with the option to add Super Cruise®, GM's semi-autonomous hands-free driving system.
The Blazer EV was initially available with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, as well as a more powerful single-motor rear-wheel-drive option on the RS trim. Chevrolet switched things up in 2025, offering a single-motor front-wheel-drive option with 312 miles of range
and adding the SS with its dual motors delivering 615 horsepower. The rear-wheel-drive variant was discontinued for 2026.Model highlights
