Versatile and practical truck
The 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD was used to fill the gap between the 2021 and 2022 model year. It is a reworked version of the 2021 Silverado but with a few updates and many of the same features and options. You'll find a great mix of engine options from a standard 2.7L four-cylinder up to an optional 6.2L V8. So, as you can see, the Silverado 1500 LTD is far from basic and delivers a ton of great content.

Check out the 2022 Silverado LTD and you'll find a bunch of great engine options. It all starts with a standard turbocharged 2.7L four-cylinder engine making 310 horsepower. If you want a V8, you should look out for the optional 355-horsepower 5.3L V8 or the optional 420-horsepower 6.2L V8. There is even a 310-horsepower 3.0L turbodiesel available as well.
2. Towing capability
Your weekends will get a bit more fun with the 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD and its great towing capability. Each engine has a different tow rating starting with an estimated 9,300 and 9,500 pounds for the diesel and four-cylinder respectively (when properly equipped).
Ramp up to the V8 Silverados and you'll get a maximum estimated towing capacity of 9,900 pounds for the 5.3L and a massive 13,300 pounds for the 6.2L engine, both when properly equipped.3. Off-road capable
