The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is a family-friendly but pricey plug-in hybrid minivan
The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid sets itself apart from the rest of the Pacifica lineup with its plug-in hybrid powertrain, which is good for an EPA-estimated 33 miles of electric range and up to 30 mpg on the EPA combined score when in hybrid mode. Actual mileage will vary based on things like battery age, vehicle condition and history, driving and charging habits, accessory use, and driving conditions. Battery capacity may decrease with time and use. See fueleconomy.gov for more info.
This seven-seat minivan has a passenger-friendly cabin and tech touches to keep everyone happy and charged up. It has up to a dozen USB ports inside, an intuitive 10.1-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and road-trip-friendly options like Amazon Fire TV for the available dual-screen rear entertainment system. Accessing all three rows in the nicely trimmed cabin is easy, and even the rear seating is accommodating for adults. The Pacifica Hybrid sits low to the ground, so getting yourself or heavy cargo on board is less of a strain than with a typical SUV.
Unfortunately, unlike the regular Pacifica, the Hybrid isn't available with all-wheel drive, and it doesn't come with Stow 'n Go® folding second-row captain's chairs because its battery pack takes up the storage space.

What We Like
Electric range: The EPA-estimated 33 miles of electric driving range is the Pacifica Hybrid’s main selling point.
If you routinely travel short distances and have a reliable charging spot, you may need to refuel very infrequently.Passenger space: Minivans are great when it comes to hauling people of all shapes and sizes. There is room for up to seven on board, and the Pacifica’s lower height makes getting in and out a breeze. Unlike many three-row SUVs, the third-row seats are fine for adults.
Accessibility and visibility: Getting heavy luggage or cargo into the Pacifica Hybrid is also made easier by its ride height. Drivers will find that the Pacifica offers a commanding view of the road and good outward visibility.
What Needs Improvement
The regular Pacifica is cheaper and more versatile: We’ll be the first to admit the clever Stow 'n Go seating in the Pacifica is one of our favorite minivan features. They quickly fold into hidden bins that double as added floor storage when the second-row seats are in place. But the Hybrid’s battery pack needed the space, so Stow 'n Go gets the heave-ho.
