- The Expedition EL is available in a new trim called the Platinum.
- Expedition EL trims have been upgraded with Smart Key, Blind Spot Monitor, Sunroof(s), Vinyl Seats, Remote Start, 20 Inch Plus Wheels, Turbo Charged Engine, 1530, and Sony Sound System as standard equipment this year.
- Automated Cruise Control features are now available as options on select trims.
- The XL trim now comes with Rear View Camera as standard equipment.
- The XLT trim now comes with Rear View Camera and Full Roof Rack as standard equipment.
