First generation Ford Mustang Mach-E
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is a mainstream electric crossover with a sporty design aesthetic inspired by the Mustang performance coupe and convertible.
Buyers have a wide range of configurations to choose from, including four trim levels, three battery sizes, rear- or all-wheel drive, and two performance variants. The Mach-E was originally introduced with a 68-kWh battery, but newer models have capacities ranging from 73 kWh to 88 kWh or 91 kWh for the extended-range versions. Newer base models are offered with rear- or all-wheel drive and the 73-kWh and 88-kWh batteries. The GT and Rally get only the 91-kWh battery and all-wheel drive. Those two top models have 480 horsepower and up to 700 lb-ft of torque; that power unlocks 0-60 mph times as low as 3.3 seconds.
The GT model is tuned for on-road performance, while the Rally has more ground clearance and a softer suspension for off-road performance inspired by rally racing.
While even the base version offers a 0-60 mph time of 5.6 seconds, every Mustang Mach-E also offers the utility of a typical crossover SUV, with room for five passengers and up to 59.7 cubic feet of interior cargo space inside, plus a 2.6-cubic-foot front trunk.
