First generation Lincoln Aviator
Reprising a nameplate from the early 2000s, Lincoln released the Aviator three-row midsize SUV for the 2020 model year. Based on the current generation Ford Explorer, the Aviator offers distinctive bodywork and a more luxury-focused interior. The Aviator is spacious, with seating for up to seven passengers when equipped with a second-row bench seat. If individual captain’s chairs are selected for the second row, the Aviator will seat six people.
The Aviator is powered by a 3.0-liter EcoBoost® turbocharged V6 engine paired with an automatic transmission and the buyer’s choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Aviator will return up to an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in combined city/highway driving
and tow up to 6,700 pounds when properly equipped. Among the standout features is Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free assisted driving technology, which will effectively steer the vehicle on highways while the driver pays attention to the road ahead.Model highlights
